I found this restaurant by chance. It was full of premises and very popular. No wonder. food was made home and very cheap. We ordered the dish of the day. Beautiful. I managed to park the car nearby and it was in the city center near a beautiful bridge over the river. View all feedback.
We fell on this restaurant after visiting the famous bridge. attracted to the lively atmosphere, filled with apparently places. It turned out to be a ground-to-land restaurant, a pot on the table, without cracks, just a good type of restaurant. for about 13 euros, five dishes and a glass of wine, what's wrong? Well, very little when the chef uses good ingredients and knows how to deal with pans like this restaurant does.

This restaurant is located near the beautiful deck of cahors and is an ideal place for lunch. The value is amazing. for 13 euros, you get a meal of 4 or 5 dishes, wine included. Wine is not bad either. Today, the menu was a mixture of shrimp and rice in a half-law with salad, wine ****, a plate of cheese where you take just a few pieces of cheese from a plate they will reuse, and dessert to choose. At that time, I just wanted a fruit salad for dessert, but my husband had a chocolate mousse. food has nothing extraordinary, but a good home cooking. and for this price, the best value for money in france!
Following the advice, we went to lunch one day. terrace poky complete so table delegate inside. the owner came, unseen the menu of the day and disappeared before we could say a word. the menu of the day didn't rain us, so when she came back, I asked for the map with other suggestions. what was brought quickly and even before we could take a look at it, she swept all the items that were not available "because the chief didn't have time to prepare them". our surprise grows again when we realized that this menu only contained sandwiches, two kinds of omelets and a salad dish. of which - apparently - two thirds were not available because of the use of the time charged to the chief! So we got up and made the map and said we were leaving because we had found nothing to our taste. The lady became abusive and we were able to arrange, on an aggressive tone so I don't understand at all why the note is so enthusiastic. My opinion is that this lady does not support tourists and I was classified as tourist despite the fact that I speak fluent French. but with a slight accent.
We had just visited the valentine bridge and came back to the deck when we went to the garrigue. the fixed menu at 13 euros for the day was: soup, gizzard salad (smoke or duck), duck stew with rissoles apples, cheese, dessert and a bottle of ordinary wine between the 4 or us. the supper was laid on the table and we served – vegetable cream with crusts. We asked if two of us could get the salad without a gizzard. No problem! We were given a salad with smoked salmon - delicious (and apparently the gizzards were excellent too). Potato duck was served on a serving dish and we used ourselves - a very good idea because some of us already felt quite satisfied. Following a cheese tray was left to us and finally we were offered a choice of 3 desserts or a selection of ice or sorbets. wine was very acceptable and service excellent. our water carafe and our bread basket were replaced as soon as necessary and the waitress was extremely friendly despite the fact that the restaurant was full - all other guests seemed to be local, many of them were workers. we dined in the shaded outer area but would also have been able to eat inside. I have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant and I will certainly return!
