Popped in when walking the promenade at Cagnes sur Mer for the first time. Good fun polite service and mostly simple salads- salad of day-was good as was Tartuffa being a ham sandwich/salad. Good prices and wonderful environment. Great for a lunch View all feedback.
What Hester Will doesn't like about L'Arret Au Port:
We went there for an aperiod dinner. the products were good but rather expensive overall. The note goes up very fast. Then we took salads at 15 € one. Very disappointed, lots of mixed salad, a warm tomato cut in slices, a little raw ham cut very finely and a mozza ball in the middle without basil and need to season yourself. for the wine, bottle is 18 € or 22 €, price of a good restaurant. wooden tables are very stic... Quick and early dinner just before a concert in Nice: very nice surroundings overlooking the small port of Cros-de-Cagnes. The atmosphere here is not as posh as in other places at the Côte d'Azur but this is exactly what we were looking for. The restaurant serves only cold food, no hot meals. Prices are a bit steep as everywhere in this part of France. But quality was very good. We had a plate of porchetta (delicious) and Brie with truffels. White wine from Provence perfectly drinkable. The service was friendly and efficient. If you want to eat later, reservation is advisable in the high season.
The food is just ridiculously good. It just leaves you speechless. And the service is excellent as well. They only serve the best ingredients but focus on locally goods.
Well-known and well-liked by the locals, l'Arret au Port offers simple and appetising dishes. Most of the sitting is outside overlooking the sea and the little fishing harbour of Le Cros de Cagnes. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere casual. Unfortunately, reservations are not accepted and sometimes there is a bit of a wait before getting a table, especially at the weekend. If you are not in a hurry and not too hungry, it is worth the wait!
Although the restaurants does not offer warm meals, the food is really nice. If you need a lunch at the beach or if you want to have a french tapas diner, this restaurant will comfort you. We had a plate with sausages and cheese, a caprese salad although it's simple food the ingredients are from high quality! the service is really nice and wanted to speak in German with us. we had not to wait long for ordering, paying or for our meals.

We were all disappointed. We won't go back.
