We first visited La Tartane three years ago and of all the places we've been in this area it was the one we most wanted to return to. We weren't disappointed. La Tartane is a creperie that does what it does really well indeed. There's plenty to choose from on the menu, I had an Andalouse roasted peppers, chorizo, egg and emmental. Lovely. Super. Excellent food. Very nice chef. We have really enjoyed crepes (salty and sweet). We will come back
Excellent place. Been twice in 4 days. Prices are quite good and fair, quality is extraordinary in both galettes and crêpes. However, it is the owner of this place what makes your visit worthwhile and something that you will remember. Merci bien pour tout! A bientôt!
Eating wonderful food every day can get you a bit jaded, sometimes you just want something simple and not messed around with. The crepes here are fab but we love the omelettes La Tartane. The gentleman does not speak English (why should he) our French is poor but with some are gesticulating we get by, he has a wonderful friendly attitude and each dish is served with a great big smile! Oh and ridiculously cheap!

Having been spenfng time in the area for many yarsnow , due to family and friends having property in the area his little place has become a favourite and a visit at to La Tartane at least once a trip is a pretty regular occurrence.I am basing this review on my last visit, but it has been remarkably consistent for many years. As ever we were given a friendly welcome by the owner. This time we decided to eat a bit more than normal (we normally just have crepes and that's it). We decided to have savoury crepes, followed by an ice cream. We also had the cider to accompany the crepes (which is a tradition we have always enjoyed). We finished with espresso and brandy. This time I have visited slightly out of season, and it was just the owner working on his own waiting, I believe there are other staff who wait there when its busier. In any case service was very fast and efficient (and always is), as well as friendly. Nothing to really to add about the venue, its basic and small but clean and very pleasant and that is all that matters with the type of place it is. To summarise it does what is says on the tin, but it does it well. To state the obvious I will be back.
