This was a real find in the older part of Cagnes, in the shady square away from the beaches. The food was largely freshly made, popular with the working locals, and the prices were reasonable. We were impressed by the quantity and variety of seafood...that went into the frito miso (certainly a better version than ones I have seen on the seafront); and Dame Blanche for dessert was a cut above the average ones normally... What Alexandrea Franecki doesn't like about Electric Cafe:
good caesar salad but with three tastes of caesar sauce. I'm asking for the sauce that's billed to me on an extra charge. When I settle, I express my discontent and physically assault the manager. I strongly advise !!!! View all feedback.

Our server Lilly was excellent friendly and very efficient; and waiting time was minimal. If you are coming in from the Plage area, please note that street parking in designated payant' places are free from about noon until
Stopped here for some lunch while we waited to check in to our villa in La Gaude and the service and food were absolutely fantastic and the prices are very reasonable. Would definitely recommend for a lunch visit!
If Walt Whitman had eaten here he would have been doing the same. Oh, let's have a cheer for this little bistro and every other one like it in France. No frills, just very good food at the correct price. I first ate there two...years ago, having nosed round all the more pretentious restaurants in Haut de Cagnes (up the hill). What caught my attention? Well, it was packed. or so tables in the square opposite, a couple of dozen indoors. Full of locals getting their lunchtime calories. This year I lunched there three times and breakfasted twice. For lunch euro main course, euro main and pudding) you get two choices. I never ate a bad meal there, never saw it less than packed by Wine by the pitcher, coffee cheap and excellent, service with a smile.
I really enjoyed my meal here today and I ordered the Formule Pâte for euros including a can of Orangina and a coffee. Unfortunately they tried to charge me euros and added the free drinks onto the price of the pasta. Not a...good ending.
I had a electric hamburger and a glass of rosé. It was very good!! For dessert i had a Tiramisu and it was wonderful. I recommend!
