Pani E Casu Cagliari

One of the rudest restaurant experiences of my life. Me and my mother turned up, introduced ourselves to the waiter, and asked if they had space for 2. He turned around, pointed at the empty restaurant (approx 2 out of 40 or so chairs taken) and said we are full tonight, you can 't come here while smiling and gesturing at the empty chairs. We asked him for a recommendation of where else to go and he didn 't help us. This was a real let down – we had driven over 20 minutes to find some local food and saw the positive reviews. We were both well dressed, but did not speak Italian. I can 't think of any other reason why we were refused entry so rudely clearly they do not like foreigners.

Absolutely recommended to tourists who would love to try the typical Sardinian cuisine like at home. Excellent experience.

Definitely book this restaurant while in Cagliari. The food is delicious and be sure when booking to ask for a table on the terrace. The staff were so lovely. We even went back a 2nd night just so we could have the pork (which needs to be ordered the day before). Very reasonable also for such a special location.

Abbiamo mangiato molto e bene. Per due persone abbiamo scelto un mix di antipasti con fave, salumi e formaggi, melanzane e tanto altro. Due primi: culurgiones e malloreddus entrambi molto buoni e ben conditi. Per finire un secondo di capra in umido. Questa è stata eccezionale davvero. Totale in due compresa acqua e due Calici di vino rosso. Lo staff è gentile e disponibile. Il menù è tradizione, i piatti sono pochi ma rappresentano bene la Sardegna. Il locale è piccolo ma hanno anche un grande spazio esterno con una vista mozzafiato di sera.
