we popped into Kubrick for some refreshing drinks and quick snack, so accidentally really, but enjoyed it a lot. Cocktails and freshly made sandwiches were very nicely presented. Bread was crispy outside but soft inside. At the end of our quick lunch we were offered Mirto their traditional liquor free of charge. So we came back next time too, not just for Mirto, but because of friendly service and good quality food. View all feedback.
Have recently been to Cagliari and found this nice restaurant. They make brilliant cocktails and big really tasty sandwiches, salads and more. At the end the barman offered us Mirto (their traditional liquor) free of charge! Service was 5 star, went there few times, I would highly recommend Kubrick to everyone.
We were trying to find a restaurant on our 1st evening in Cagliari but failed. Since we were so tired after the flight and the walk in town, we decided to have a drink before continuing with our dinner search and Kubrick is on the same street. I asked for a mojito my husband a glass of good Sardinia red wine. Sara, the waitress who speaks English came back with the 2 drinks a platter of tapas for free. My mojito was one of the best (have been testing it in different cities in the world so trust me! but my husband's red was not as good. When he told the owner Cristian, he was so upset that he gave him a different red. My husband tried the 2nd one was delighted as it was very good. When we went to pay, Cristian charged us only for 2 drinks even after we strongly stated that the bill should be for 3. The day after, we went back again for an aperitif this time I asked the same barman, Nicola on how he mixed the mojito. Nicola was such a wonderful person showed me how though he doesn't speak English. After travelling for a week on the island, we went back to Kubrick before our flight back to France the day after. When Cristian saw us, he was genuinely happy like seeing old friends we again had a good mojito, a good glass of red lots of laughter! So don't miss it when you go to Cagliari!
