Cute and friendly place, fast service and really very good food.

Total bust. Booked online. Had a confirmation. On the day of the booking had a reminder. Got there. Closed. Coincidentally we had walked past the day before it had been dark then too and we 'd commented how odd to be closed mid week. Yeah. No. Closed. We rang and the man said 'we have a problem today ' but he must have had the same problem the day before. And why email us to confirm? He said we could go to their other place. That would be the place we 'd walked past earlier and had got confused when we 'd seen the same name (this other one is Il Brigante Grill) and we 'd asked the young woman standing on the restaurant step if we were in the right place. No, she 'd said, go to the other one. Which we did and it was closed. So we went back and the woman saw us coming and slid gently back into the restaurant and sent a colleague out front instead. Oh he said. We have only just found out it 's not open. It 's open on Google though, he said. Like that was nothing to do with them. So we ate there. This place: I would give it zero. DO NOT book it online. If you want to eat there go there and book it in person.

Blink and you'll miss it, so don't blink. This fantastic little restaurant is just off the city centre but is so unobtrusive you could walk past it and never know. Be glad you didn't walk past though because the food and the service are both excellent. There is no menu as the seafood selection is seasonal but the staff will give you a detailed description of what is available. We all had different dishes and they were all wonderful. A lovely evening we didn't want to leave!
