On the advice of a friend we choose to dine in this pizzeria in the historic center of Caggiano, in the walls of the castle. Interior rustic, in the summer months I recommend the veranda room just entered, the interior is quite warm. Fine food, not high-end and nice staff. Never go before dawn without asking how much this cost. Got a red fish for two people for 50 euros. The grilled vegetables and potatoes don't fall under there. View all feedback.
Excellent pizzas, friendly and familiar environment. The structure was entirely built by the owner's father, who built everything with his hands, just for this reason it was an honor for me; Seeing how a person with commitment and sacrifice has carried out a beautiful project. Pizza is soft and tasty. The dough is light because the leavening exceeds 24 hours. The potatoes cooked under the ash are exceptional and the baked scamorza with porcini is sublime. Even of the simple bruschettes become particular with Caggiano oil. I recommend it.

Excellent pizza, light, tasty and only with seasonal ingredients. I recommend pizza Grotto castle which, among other ingredients, instead of asparagus in summer is stuffed with pumpkin flowers. Top.
Super recommended place. I think it's one of the best in the diano vallo. I live in Madrid, but every time I get back, I have to go. Small but very characteristic and super cozy pizzeria. Good food and quality. Pizza is their battle horse This is the only place where I can eat 3 without weighting. The staff is very kind and polite, difficult to find and the environment is very familiar. 100% recommended to spend a good evening with good food
