Chicken Green Curry I suggest it to everyone. This is our favorite dish here. It is creamy by the correct amount of coke milk, with slow steep eggplants, with the right combination of spices that all compliments strong the tenderness of the chicken mapo tofu It is not that I am disappointed, it is simply not sharp as Mapo Tofu is usually (I also have a devil tongue, so maybe this is also the reason) but still the way... What User doesn't like about Fat Monk:
I've tasted other Thai inspired restaurants and I can say that I've had better. The noodles of the pad Thai were soggy and not aldente which was disappointing. As for the salad, it was only a mix of tomatoes, onions, and cucumber with seasoned beef. It didn't taste bad though, I just prefer my salad with leafy greens in them. View all feedback.
I highly recommend the Chicken Green Curry; it's our favorite dish here. The curry is creamy with just the right amount of coconut milk, complemented by tender, slow-cooked eggplants and a perfect blend of spices that enhances the softness of the chicken. As for the Mapo Tofu, while I wasn't disappointed, it didn’t have the sharpness that is typically found in this dish (maybe that’s due to my preference for spicy food). However, the tofu itself is perfectly cooked! As for the Straußschale (I can’t recall the exact name), it was my first time trying this dish, so I can’t compare it to anything else. It seemed to be prepared like adobo, with a wonderful balance of sweetness and spice that I absolutely loved. The only downside was that the pieces were uneven in tenderness. Overall, it was a fantastic culinary experience!
What a gem! The food is outstanding! I've traveled the globe and dined in many fine restaurants, but this one has become one of my favorites in terms of flavor! The variety of dishes is incredible, and the service is prompt. Every bite was as delicious as what I've experienced in the countries of origin. Excellent job!
The menu at Fat Monk features a fantastic selection of delicious dishes from across Asia. I particularly enjoyed the cheese rot, which I highly recommend. It's also a lovely venue for meetings or group gatherings. Additionally, their prices are reasonable considering the quality and portion sizes.
So far I love her Hainanese Chicken. I did not expect all foods in their menu to be good for 2-3 Pax. And I was like, how do I command and ended this?! I look forward to trying another court soon. I love the ambience and the crews were friendly. It's really a must! If you have missed a dish from Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Singapore and so on, you must visit this restaurant. It's delicious.
Great food, beautiful aesthetics. Servers are warm and welcoming. The seafood soup is filling. Would also recommend the salted egg pork ribs.
