My family and I often dine at the Islwyn Inn for Sunday lunch and attend their theme evenings, so we decided to have our baby shower there. We cannot thank Rob and the staff enough for being so helpful and allowing us to decorate the room to our liking. They were extremely accommodating, offering a variety of menu options including individual platters for dietary restrictions. We had around 20 guests and everyone raved about how delicious the buffet was. It was a truly perfect afternoon!
Went for Sunday lunch for our daughter's birthday. The food is outstanding and very good value for a 3 course meal 10/10. Sadly the same cannot be said about the service. Our meal was booked for 12.30 so we thought it would be nice to arrive a little earlier as they open at 12 and have a drink in the separate bar area. A gentleman came in and told us to go straight to the restaurant area and made us feel very unwelcome, like he didn't want us there. Why have a bar area if you don't want people in there. This spoiled our experience which is a shame as the food is so good. 10/10 for food 4/10 for service.
