Doorae Japanese Donburi Cup-bap

Gosh we ordered the Fried chicken with fries and army stew with noodles and cheese. It was so yummy! Wish we could go back for their BBQ but we were visiting Queenstown and we are glad we managed to visit Doorae for lunch! Amazing Korean food, thank you so much!

Best korean food I have tried in Queenstown. I ordered osam bulgogi. It’s a stirfry sliced pork and squid. The sauce is just perfect, not overwhelming. Another dish is samgyetang, its a ginseng chicken soup, such a clean taste to have. Overall, great service and you can top up the side dish at no extra cost. I’m very impress. Will definitely come back and try their bbq.

I was dreaming of Korean food while tramping so by the time we came off the 5 day tramp and made it here, we were ravenous! Service was attentive and the food was served quickly, within 10 or so minutes after we ordered. I haven’t had authentic Korean food in New Zealand for a long time so the kimchi stew was a real treat. Fried chicken was also perfectly fried tender, with a crispy coat. Jay the duty manager closed off the meal with some rice crackers for us. Will definitely be back and would recommend everyone to check out this joint for good Korean food at an affordable price point.

I searched and went near the hotel I ordered tteokbokki, seafood miso stew, bibimbap All three was so very delicious.
