We recently hosted a Family Summer Celebration The delicious Mac&cheese plus broccoli salad was enjoyed by all! The service by the staff from start to finish was positively well done! Everyone asked “who made the mac&cheese?” View all feedback.
What Al Starkerman doesn't like about Bean's Country Store:
Stopped in for first time for a quick bite to go. Was met by a rude female about 30 or so. Seemed to be bothered by me ordering two sandwiches a full hour before closing time. I told her ,after getting an eye roll and a huff to just nevermind and left. Contacted the owner who responded that his or her staff is overworked. Terrible response from an owner. Everyone has a bad day however owners response let's me know th... View all feedback.
Solid general store. Lots of deli foods like sandwiches and salads, locally baked goods like pies and donuts, and a bunch of local craft beers. The cashier was friendly thank you! The only thing I noticed is that a bottle of water (Saratoga brand) was $2 and some change... closer to $3? It would seem that as the product is sourced so close to Queensbury the bottle should be like $1.75 ish? I'm not sure if this is regular ole inflation or if this is hiking up the price of a local product for tourists who are passing through. For context: I grew up a short distance away from Lake George and now live in Manhattan and I can't think of a time where I paid more than $2 for a bottle of Saratoga water unless it was sparkling in a blue glass bottle and sold at a gourmet cafe.
There Stromboli are wonderful good stuffed with toppings for what you pay for them you get your money's worth Dawn Horton Warren Center
UPDATE. IM GOING TO HAVE TO DOWNGRADE MY REVIEW. IT LOOKS AS IF BIDEN INFLATION IS UNDERMINING THEIR QUALITY. Furthermore, whatever the packaging was that they put my sandwich in was absolutely disgusting and smelled like nothing I can really explain it except putrid it ruined my appetite. I do like their chili but even that has sort of appeared to be kind of more ground-up whereas before they were big chunks of beef in there and now there's not so it looks like they're using the day before it's chilly and and mixing it up. Good food but over priced. Limited menu. Not a great breakfast place. Not very clean sometimes. Good for grab and go. 20$ pizzas and soggy. Not really worth a special trip. 17.99$ pies from a 99¢ pie crust and a 3$ can of peaches is ridiculous. Good for older rich folks who don't like to cook. Sandwiches, deli good and prepared salads. No dinner style dining here. Most of the rave reviews are from staff and friends. Overpriced deli and sandwiches getting smaller.
We love all the homemade stuff.. Lots to choose from.. Great pizza and mac cheese ziti pulled pork .. And the homemade treats are excellent
There is a picture of Beans Country Store under the definition of Country Store in the dictionary. A wide variety of home cooked specialties. Surely a definition of fine cuisine.
