Brassrie de la Halle has an excellent location in this historic city. The owner is also a good cook and able to produce good dishes. Problem is, I don't think he always does cooking, which makes the quality of the food fluctuates. Adding a pizza menu did not help because better pizzas can be had right around the corner.. Beautiful jam, superb salad and a very welcoming and professional service. A great option for your meals in town.
We ate here twice while visiting family in France. The owners, food, location and service is superb. The cuisine is varied and prepared to perfection. The wine choices are excellent and the setting serene and beautiful. This is a must visit spot if you are fortunate enough to visit and tour the country side of southern France.
