Excellent service, consistent food. Claims to use same recipes since opening, which is probably true. The very definition of sloppy Mexican food. Unique dining experience. Service: Dine in Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 View all feedback.
What Moose Fox doesn't like about El Rancho:
We ordered to go, and it took 2 hours to get our food. Many other people came in after us and got their food and even ate it before we got ours. Food wasn't even that great. Service: Take out Meal type: Brunch Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3 View all feedback.
Nice folks, delicious food and plenty of it. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
BEWARE: they charge a 20% gratuity for parties of 6 or more but nothing is posted and we weren’t told. We left cash on the table then they took 20% more. THATS WRONG, sneaky and should be illegal. Our waitress was excellent but it not fair to steal $18 of my money. Shame on you El Rancho Price per person: $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Food was not good at all I tryed an gotten very sick Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30
Just to let y’all know they will charge a 20% gratuity on a party of 6 or more and will not inform you of this prior of charging you. Our party left a cash tip on the table so they got cash tip as-well as 20%. It is also extremely over priced with a chicken strip plate costing $15. I would rather drive to Amarillo and have more choices for that price. They did work hard and appreciate their service but that is shady business and for that we will not be back.
