We came here following the recommendation from a local colleague and aiming for a local special: the cuchifrito ibérico . Awesome. You can not miss it. Cuchifrito is mainly pork bacon cooked in such a way that it is tender insise and crispy -fried- outside. At La Minerva you get in a fashion way with a delicous chanterelles cream and a lovely presentation. They follow this approach with all their dishes so definitely it was a great experience!! The whole family was blown... read more This restaurant was suggested by our Airbnb host. Thank you Rosy. The pork cheeks, grilled pork and lamb with mushrooms were sublime. The whole family was blown away by the tomato and watermelon gazpacho. I had the Almond gazpacho which was outstanding. The service was excellent. It's fairly priced considering the quality of the food. Worth a visit.

Bit puzzl... read more I was recommended by the hotel. I ordered a bottle of white. Bit flat, bit sweet but OKish. Service is erratic because have to lure other tourists in. Bit puzzled that I only ordered patatas bravas but that was the right choice. Really poor sauce. It can’t always be Cabrales, but this disgusted me. The tuna I ordered thereafter was disguised in loads of whipped cream and didn’t charm me either. Is there better here? I booked for two more nights because the old centre is really nice and will report my findings. This is not recommended by me.

Tapas were delicious and the price was fair. We liked so much we came back for lunch the next day.
