L & D Seafood and Takeaway - Caboolture

Not much to say over every other takeaway. We ordered Barramundi, whiting, potato chips and a prawn cutlet. Fish was crumbed and cooked well although the whiting still had some scaley skin on them. Prawn cutlet was good but the chips were noticeably unevenly salted as much as salt comes under profit margins use sparingly and also the chips were undercooked. The problem with undercooked chips being there is not enough heat imparted into the centre of the chip and therefore cooling after cooking comes from the inside out and the undercooked chip is unpleasant as well as cold. Chips looked like they were cooked well tho. Parking, seating, shopping centre location and ATM in the village as well as eftpos available. Chips were also a half serve to normal serving sizes and thick cut.

Tartufo is a large, busy and bustling restaurant which offers a little more in the way of atmosphere than other Italian restaurants in Brisbane.

I had the cod dish, which was incredibly generous in size - enough for two people. It was fresh and flaky, and the portion was accompanied by a side snack pack. I paid $19 for it and enjoyed my meal by the sea at the end of the main street. The food was truly delicious and surpassed anything I've had on Bribie Island or Sandstone Point/Ningi. I highly recommend this restaurant.
