El Imperial is a family owned business and the food is well prepared and comes to your table very hot. The salsa and chips are excellent. If you like Mexican food, you have to give this place a try. I've visited this restaurant several times in the past while in the area, and the food and service have always been excellent. My sister and I stopped by today and noticed they’ve updated the menu with some new recipes. I can't rave enough about the food. We're both from St. Louis and have tried countless Mexican restaurants, but this one has taken the top spot for me today. They now serve a selection of Mexican beers and margaritas, which I always like to try wherever I go. OMG!!! This was by far the best margarita I’ve ever had!!! No cheap sour mix used here! Ugh! I just wish I didn’t live so far away!
