Tortas El Champions - Rico Suave

This place is great! Right in town with a big parking lot right next to it. The setup is simple with plastic tables and chairs. They have seating outside against the sidewalk where you can see them make the smoothies, juices and fruit bowls to order. They also had seating inside but I don’t believe it was air conditioned. The waiters were very attentive. They sat us down and took our order promptly. Getting our order took some time but it is obvious that everything is made when you order it. The breakfast plates were a bargain at 55 pesos each. The smoothies were made with fresh fruit and almost anything can me mixed into it. Eating here definitely makes you feel like a local. Apparently they also deliver as there guys on small motorcycles taking orders out every few minutes. Overall it was a great experience. Very friendly staff, great tasting food and more than reasonable prices.

I have got to say this Torta was amazing it has a lot of ingredients but with one its a complete meal, I finished one and I was full 100% If you go there order one of the Regiomontana a specailty of Tortas el Campion

Terrible service!!! Was filled with locals and we went to grab lunch but they never waited on us. Sat at the first table closest to the counter and she saw us but ignored us for 15 minutes until we left. She even took the order of two worker guys that came in way after us and weren’t even ready to order. Stay away if that’s how they treat tourist.

I have driven past Rico Suave Tortas El Champions for many years without stopping to enjoy the food. It is a very basic restaurant. They serve natural fruit drinks, tortas, Burritos, Salads, Sandwiches, Hamburgers, and eggs. Open for breakfast, lunch dinner. 7:00 AM 9:00 PM. Very good !! I had the Hawaiana Totas Special. It was 2 means in one. Had to cut in half and take half home. Only $75 Pesos. You can't go wrong...
