After asking for my check the girl stopped and starter talking to her friend about a party. I know this bc she was talking next to me. I waited patiently but after 5 minutes I asked her again. She said "can you wait a minute" and kept talking. When my bill was brought to me it said $200 MXN i got a notification from my bank when I got home. For $220. The girl had added 20% for herself. I went to the bar the next day and the girl said that it was my banks mistake. I went to my bank Banorte and the director told me that they wouldn't do such a thing and that the only way that would happen is if someone charged it. And that if there was an issue Jungle Bar would have to show proof to the bank. I went back to Jungle Bar and the girl working. Lin said that 20% was added just in case we wanted to leave a tip and later the amount would be deducted from the 20%. I asked what they do if someone leaves a higher tip. She was lying and wouldn't admit they were stealing. She said that it would be canceled later. It was never canceled. My bank did cancel it when I showed them the receipt. It's a really small amount I know. But you have to think about how many times a day they do this to local and tourist visiting the place. Specially if you'd had a couple drinks. I was at a different bar later and the girl working there said she used to work there and that Lin would take money from them and over charged customers and everyone was in on it.

We saw a local band live here on a Thursday night - classic rock but nothing special Lots of their family and friends there for a good time. Drinks are moderately priced and it was fun
