The food was excellent, though slightly on the expensive side, but definitely worth it for a special evening. I was thoroughly impressed with everything and will certainly be visiting again soon.

The veranda offers a stunning view of Namakagan Lake. Be sure to check out the old lodge—it’s worth a visit. The food is definitely above average by North Woods standards. The bar has a charming old-world feel, complemented by modern updates.

The main lodge features a charm... read more My family has been visiting this resort for years, and the unique style and stunning lakeside setting consistently draw us back. The main lodge features a charming rustic Alpine design, while the cabins available for rent showcase a variety of eclectic styles, ranging from German to fantasy castle themes to traditional log cabins. One suggestion I would make is to bring your own towels if you're staying in the cabins, as they are not always provided.

We had lunch there the bartender Greg was perfect if not better than anyone ever. A patty melt a smoked brisket and the garmishdeluxe was our selection and we couldn't have picked three better entrees.
