Contribute FeedbackDespite the drawbacks, the ambiance of dining by the pool or in the garden was enjoyable, and the staff, while not always fully knowledgeable about the dishes, were friendly and efficient. The Deck received praise for its evening menu and carefully prepared meals, with one dish, the king prawn ravioli, being highlighted as the best ever had. Recommendations were made for improvement in consistency, faster service, and staff knowledge. Overall, The Deck provides an upscale dining experience worth visiting for its pleasant atmosphere, despite some room for improvement.
We were staying at the resort and had several meals here. At one point we were out and asked a number of locals where is the best place to eat. All said the deck. The evening menu was first rate. Each meal we had was carefully prepared, looked beautiful and tasted the same. One I had was the king prawn ravioli hand made. It would probably be the best I've had. Yes it's a little pricey but an experience. The service was great although the new staff weren't able to explain the dishes. But they went away and happily returned to answer our questions. They were friendly and efficient without being pushy. Great atmosphere by the pool.
Very disappointing, food very very average! Would not recommend to anyone visiting Broome! No wonder it was empty when we got there for lunch! They rate themselves as one of the top resorts in broome! Would expect a lot better! We are locals and certainly not on our list to ever return!
Our barramundi and salmon dishes were certainly nice, however portion sizes between our group varied significantly. Prices for food and wine were at the top end of the market. Pity about the inconsistencies in meals.Staff were attentive and engaging, that said, service was very slow. The coffee I ordered was delivered luke warm, not good enough for this restaurant. When brought to attention another properly prepared coffee was delivered.Overall the above need to be improved before I'd invest in dinner again.
First night in Broome after a good part of the day spent traveling. We had a lovely meal of gnocchi and seafood bouillabaisse following a lovely crab risotto and Moreton bay bugs. The service was very slow but there weren't many staff on and they all seemed to be run off their feet.We had lunch the next day and again the food was excellent but there were just not enough staff on to manage customers effectively
The atmosphere is extremely relaxing especially in the al fresco dining area. The menu has something a little different in every course and the favourites for the less adventurous
