Casey's - Byron
Casey's
Description
Casey’s feels like a friendly gas‑station eatery where attentive staff and thoughtfully made pizzas can impress, and employees sometimes go above and beyond to help customers. Yet experiences vary: pizzas can be unavailable at peak times, breakfast pies may be doughy, restrooms lack supplies, and snacks are pricey. Overall it’s a convenient, casual stop for travelers and quick meals, best if you expect helpful service but occasional inconsistency.

I visit this restaurant a few times a week, but the older gentleman behind the counter is often unfriendly. Today was particularly disappointing; he completely ignored me throughout the checkout process. I greeted him with a "hi there," but he remained silent. He scanned my items without saying a word and only spoke to a coworker about his to-do list for his day off. After I entered my rewards and completed my payment, I thanked him and wished him a good day, but there was still no response. He didn’t say a single word to me during the entire transaction.
How is it possible to have no pizza ready at 4:30 PM on a Friday? There were about five other customers waiting for pizza as well. I waited for around five minutes and ultimately chose to leave empty-handed; that's just unacceptable. Pizza is arguably the most essential item in the business, second only to gasoline. I travel frequently and have been to numerous Casey's locations, and I can’t recall ever seeing completely empty pizza racks, even just five minutes before closing on a Monday night.
Casey's is an excellent place to eat. The pizza is fantastic, and they offer a wide range of other dishes as well. The service is always top-notch, and the staff is incredibly friendly.
How is it so hard to have pizza ready at 5 o’clock. I understand you guys have online orders to fill but they has to be a way to balance in store slices as well as online orders Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5
