This is our local favourite. They’ve changed their menu slightly after coming out of lockdown and we loved it!! All the native flavours and locally sourced produce is absolutely delicious. Wow, I was so impressed with all the amazing flavours. Highly recommend the set menu with wine choices to match. The salt bush was so surprising. Excellent service and friendly staff….great atmosphere

Mindy is an amazing chef and it was the best food I've ever eaten. Her ability to use native Australian ingredients with modern techniques brought together thoughtful, beautiful and delicious dishes. Each and every course was stunning with flavours I had never imagined together. My highlights were the complex flavours of the damper and butter, the perfect cook on the fish and the richness of chocolate and wattleseed in the desert. Mindy has such a joyous outlook on life and it shows in her food. It was amazing food, fantastic staff, a beautiful venue all at a great location close to the beach. I look forward to visiting again and trying more.
Karkalla is one of these restaurants you stop at because it looks good and it turns out to be really really good! Food was super delicious with lots of native ingredients, made by a very humble but very talented chef and served by a lovely staff!! … we ended up going two nights on a row to try everything ; Don’t hesitate! just go and enjoy!
