great food and their customer service was just as good. they were more than happy to accommodate us, although we had no booking (which seems rare nowadays) that eating was delicious, fresh and good. so nice to eat somewhere with good old-fashioned hospitality and not to be in trendy. I recently dined at this restaurant and had a rather disappointing experience overall. The food was underwhelming and didn't meet my expectations, earning a rating of just 1 out of 5. The service was slightly better, but still left much to be desired, receiving a 2 out of 5. The atmosphere, however, was decent and added a little character to the experience, so it gets a 3 out of 5. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place based on my visit.
Really loved The Cyprus Tree! The food was amazing and the service excellent : we enjoyed the traditional and seafood platters.... Every bite was delicious and so full at the end of the evening. Thank you for a great night :
Our first visit to The Cyprus Tree and both my partner and I loved the seafood platter. The service was excellent and BYO was a bonus! Highly recommended
It was a bit pricey, but the seafood share platter was absolutely delightful, and the service was outstanding! It certainly made the cost worthwhile.
I don’t eat out for dinner often, but when I take my wonderful wife out, this is the best meal you can have in Byron Bay. The seafood platter for two is absolutely incredible—words can’t describe how amazing it is. The service is outstanding every time, and we always leave very happy.
We had an incredible meal and received excellent service from our wonderful waitress Emily, who had the most charming Australian-New Jersey accent! We opted for the Traditional Meze Plate, which featured a fantastic variety of meats and seafood—more than enough for both of us. We couldn't resist indulging in the baklava and Turkish delight, paired with Greek coffee. It was absolutely delightful!
