Bay Pho Vietnamese - BYRON BAY

Enjoyed pho noodle soup with fresh green vegetables and crispy fried chicken side dish all for $19, which is expensive by big city standards but acceptable in Byron Bay, a holiday resort where rents are high and prices generally inflated. Efficient and friendly service, clean simple, uncluttered, bright premises. But one big complaint from many patrons had been excessive wine corkage charge of $5 per person! It's putting off many potential return patrons. Owners should reduce it to $2, and they would probably find the increase in popularity would of much greater benefit.

The reason that i give to only 2 stars is great location and good taste. But Staff has changed a lot of time. So many times they looked they are trainees. The price were not nice. Lunch price is ok. Dinner is expensive comparatively quantity. Only small potion for dinner. Never feel full. You should order more. Only soup(liquid)is ok. Inside is empty if you compare to usaul noodle soup. It's so mean quantity. This potion is all of noodle potion with chapstick (this picture) Also, you should oay for surcharges on public holidays and on sunday 10% of price.

The food was good even if a bit expensive. However I asked for a container to convert some to take away, (myself), and it 's the only time I have ever been charged for the container! When I said this, it was just well, bad luck that 's what we do .

Not bad, but nothing special. I have eaten better bungalows along the east coast, which is also very cheaper. However, if you want to eat Vietnamese, this is the place to be in Byron Bay.

Witnessed the owner being rude to her staff first time we went here, then last time we went she came out and gave a couple of diners a mouthful of abuse, will definitely never go back nor will the couple they abused they looked as surprised as we were. The quality food has been on the decline for some time now, it's very much like they've given up, maybe it's time for these guys to move on.
