The service at this restaurant is outstanding, with friendly staff and a chef who accommodates my plant-based diet. I began my day with a lovely view, delicious fluffy pancakes, and the pleasant sound of kitchen music. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Revsnes Hotell As:
Nice hotel at a great location. Ordered the only available dinner option, which was buffet at 275 nok each excluding drinks. Buffet was informed to be small but had salmon, meat, salats, lasagne, potatoes and dessert. When we finished eating, around 30 minutes before closing, they suddenly stayed adding more food to the buffet. Suddenly there were crayfish and other good food added, but no information was given to us... View all feedback.

Suddenly there were crayfish and other good food added, but no information was given to us when we ordered. Breakfast next morning was ok, but the staff were not able to keep up serving eggs and bacon so a lot of people were annoyed over the long waiting time. All in all a nice hotel but please improve on the food!
In Setesdal, you won't find many hotels, but Revsnes Hotell stands out with its stunning location. During my visit, the sun was shining and the weather was fantastic. Walking into the hotel feels like stepping back in time. The decor is stylish, yet old-fashioned, creating a cozy and authentic atmosphere. I had a room with views of the water and the mountains, which I had no complaints about. The bathroom was modern and everything worked perfectly, with hot water ready quickly. However, the bed was a bit uncomfortable and clumsy. Due to the pandemic, beds were not made daily, but the room was still well-maintained. The hotel offers a variety of activities, including swimming in the crisp water. The restaurant had a limited, but tasty selection of food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. Despite the bed, I am looking forward to returning next year.

The hotel was very nice and all were friendly. the rooms are old and the family room is not safe for small children. the bathroom is very small, especially the shower. the garden is beautiful and the breakfast was very good.
