Rusty's Surf Turf - Buxton

The service at this restaurant was excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive, and never missed a beat. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with a mix of modern and rustic decor that created a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future.

I would rate the dining experience at this restaurant as exceptional across the board. The food quality was a 5, the service was a 5, and the atmosphere was also a 5. I highly recommend dining at this establishment for a fantastic overall experience.

Our group of seven had a fantastic dinner at this restaurant. It's our favorite spot to eat at when we're in Hatteras for scuba diving. The service, food, and atmosphere all scored a perfect 5. We highly recommend trying the Key Lime Pie, Hushpuppies, Jerk Chicken, Cole Slaw, Kalbi Steak, Wings, Shrimp Grits, and Sesame Seared Tuna.

Not the place to go if you’re looking for a lot of food options or good service. 4 of us went, we had an incredibly rude waitress, we ordered hushpuppies as an appetizer, cold and gross. They were out of most of the seafood options. They were out of most of the beer we wanted, the food was overpriced and very small portions. It’s a run down unkept atmosphere but you had to have a reservation to eat there. The shrimp linguine was $30 and you could’ve made it for $10 and fed 6 people at home. And it included imitation crab. Yuck. We weren’t very pleased with anything we ordered, especially for the prices. Nothing special about this place at all. Save your money and go to diamond schoals or cockeyed clam.

Greeted at the door and shown to the bar area where we delicious appetizers and cocktails. Everything on the menu looked so good, its hard to choose. Everyone was friendly and welcoming from the owner to the servers. A must visit! Service: Dine in Meal type: Other
