We found a table to wat... read more We were in Buxton on a Saturday night for a week-long stay and decided to dine at this pub for our first meal. We were not disappointed. We found a table to watch the football and the food was excellent. We enjoyed it so much that we returned on Wednesday when we met a lovely older couple who are regulars at the pub. Overall, we had a great selection of beer, delicious food, a beautiful atmosphere, and friendly staff. We will definitely return on our next visit to Buxton.

The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I tried the local beer and enjoyed it very much. It was a very pleasant experience.
