Gastrofry - Buxton

After having lived 9 months in buxton, they have to try everything that is available to eat quickly and according to my opinion this is by far the best chippy in the city! they can say it is good by selecting the kartoffels, hand cut with good oil and care in. I love that they get big chips, medium chips and small crispy in their part and all cooked on the same consistency did not try fish yet had a sausage in teig and teig seems good! my only grip is that I have a family member with a fissile energy and I was told by workers that chips and everything else are boiled in the same oil! (no second frit) but for me 4.6 cheers Gastro-Fry!

I stumbled upon this chip shop by chance while on vacation, and I usually end up leaving half of my chips and fish behind. However, this place was so amazing that I devoured everything! It’s honestly the best chip shop I’ve ever visited. If I lived nearby instead of in London, I would want to come here every day!

My husband and I set out to find a good fish and chip shop during our visit to Buxton, and we were not disappointed when we discovered Gastro-Fry. The cod was cooked to perfection, coated in a delightfully crispy batter. It was an exceptional meal overall, with very generous portions. Thank you, Gastro-Fry!

The best fish and chips I've had in years! We arrived close to closing time, but the staff were more than happy to stay open and serve us. I really appreciate it!

Super fresh oil and lovely crispy batter. Everything here is first class. We got 2 sharing boxes of chips and fed 3 adults and 2 large kids easily. Sausages and fish all in for £17 amazing. The packaging is eco friendly recyclable card too. Thanks for a lovely meal.
