What Hock Sing T doesn't like about Sunrise Coffee Shop Cháo Yáng Kā Fēi Cān Guǎn:
Famous koayteow soup was below par. Very disappointed with the taste of soup which so plain and never induce any appetite. 2 stars Fried beehoon at roadside was taste so weird. So salty and sweet. The curry fishball was tasted below par as the curry powder overpowered the natural taste of fishball. The vegan duck was too oily. 1 star Prawn mee was poorly done. The broth was too diluted and hardly can feel the shrimp.... View all feedback.

Not much choice at 8:45pm. Order Thai koay chaps. Koay literally means rice noodles and chaps mean broth. Koay process is different from koay teow. Koay is searing on a pan without cutting. Chaps are herbal brown broth. Love this one for coriander aroma. Ingredients are reasonable with the price. The wanton mee not great but acceptable to me on mee texture. Presentation and wanton not suitable for my eyes and taste buds.
Everyone is coming for char koay teow and kuey teow tng, while what I recommend is their western food and Hokkien mee, especially oscar western food which I had since I was a kid, boss and kakak was friendly and boss work very fast at his cooking station.
Everyone is talking about their char koay teow and koay teow theng , while I have to say that their hokkien loh taste very good too. I ordered large one and the portion is really big. The sweetness and saltiness of the soup are just right and make it very delicious.
This is the worse char koay Teow I have ever encountered , both the owner and lady owner very bad attitude, ask them how many more till me then they told me did they say need to wait , the actual point is I just wanted to get a gauge of the number of person but they answered another. Really disappointing with the experience, unlikely to recommend to others.. if not because of The system doesn’t recognise 0 star, I wouldn’t even put one star. Disgusted experience
