the location is very convenient, especially if you want to eat something after a few miles walk in the park. we had two sandwiches for $30, it is not super pricy for national park eating. the chips that came with the sandwiches were beyond our expectations. the personal is sweet and friendly. Popped in to see about the meal options and have been a look around the shop to the crater. It would be a great opportunity for this place to make breakfast as the take away cheese egg muffins near the crater are quite, well, I try to get rid of the taste still. But something that surprises us from the United Kingdom is that the gentlemen work outside on the roof, obviously the safety of health or work up is not relevant here, it was fear to watch and I'm afraid to think whether they made any RISK reviews. As on earth they did not fall while we were just amazing. Maybe it's just not a thing? Here.
Smart to place this place at the base of the mountain as Crater Lake is quite remote. Food was good? Not great. And what you think it's for a NP restaurant. The gift show is also a great place to get some souvenirs. Self-explanatory note: On the parking lot on the north side there is a gas pump (reg. unleaded).
Nice location. Very dated rooms and buildings, but you shouldn't be spending time in your room here. Friendly and helpful staff. Free parking makes it all worth it!
This is a really cool place. Your gift shop has some very unique items that represent both large souvenirs and a local history of the area (handmade artistic objects such as sand art magnets and cups with traditional local designs.) We have some really cool patches ourselves and plan to get other items when we go back with more time in the future. We had difficulty finding the place because it was our first time to the Crater Lake and it soon became dark after our arrival, but the workers were all very friendly and accommodating. We felt terrible order eating very close to the closing time, but again they were all super friendly and told us to take our time, so we can enjoy our meal before we go, they just began to clean other tables in the meantime and kept really smiling as she went by to check if we needed something else. The music was very cold and you can feel the story in the cozy restaurant with high ceilings. I had the pulled pork sandwich; my wife had the Cheeseburger with one side of her chilis, which we shared with the potato chips that came with our meals. Both were very tasty, I was impressed by the taste of the drawn pig and the freshness of the hover in it. The chips were also quite thick and extra crispy we loved very well. I gave my compliments to the chefs that all of us were accusing and wishing us safe travels when we said we were going back with happy full belly button. Definitely recommend to stop here for a delicious meal in a cozy atmosphere, also to get your Crater Lake souvenirs. Again we plan to come back with more time, so we can thoroughly check everything and enjoy the same delicious food again!
