I discovered th... read more I really wanted to go to Fedderwardersiel for the shrimp boat regatta, so I was looking for a room (for me and my underage child) near the port. I discovered the hotel Zur Fischerklause on the internet and finally asked about it there. And was able to reserve/book the Panorama room with a view of the Weser as far as Bremerhaven . Then I looked at the reviews. Also the negative there was often something about the long stairs and the non existent elevator. From the smell from the kitchen and... Of course, for a moment I really had doubts as to whether it was the right place to stay. But as you know, you make up your own mind. We arrived in Fedderwardersiel, at the hotel, in the late afternoon. The parking lot is right by the house and didn 't cost us anything extra. We received a very friendly and warm welcome and felt right at home. Everything was shown and explained to us during a short tour. Excellent. Then it went into the room. It was really very clean. Not small at all. Own bathroom (toilet with shower), TV and WiFi available. Fantastic view we saw the port of Fedderwardersiel and Bremerhaven. And also two rabbits (real ones) who just scurried through the garden. We loved it. The holiday couldn 't start any better. By the way, the few steps up/down were no problem for me and my child. We also didn 't notice any unpleasant kitchen odor, as mentioned several times in other reviews. We really liked it there. Especially since we also had a delicious meal in the restaurant in the evening. I really liked the crab cream soup, as did the schnitzel dish for both of us. Breakfast was included in the room rate. There was a large selection of many foods and drinks. Cocoa was specially prepared for the children. Everything was great! We say THANK YOU again. If it was larger, it wouldn't be possible for the room to be cleaned when you were having breakfast. I deduct a point for the smell of the kitchen that permeates the whole house, some people can live with it, others less so, I'm one of the latter. The food is very, v... read more We were only here to eat, so unfortunately we cannot rate the rooms. Of our 4-day stay in Fedderwadersiel, we had dinner here on 3 evenings. The food is very, very tasty and the portions are generous and absolutely filling. In addition to the menu, changing daily specials are offered every day.
