It's a pretty busy place, past the street we've always seen people in the three days that we were in Busteni. My partner and I went to dinner. We ordered trout... read more It's a pretty busy place, past the street we've always seen people in the three days that we were in Busteni. My partner and I went to dinner. We ordered trout (pastrav la gratar), sorted green salad, beer and a small bottle of white wine of 18.75 cm3 (very good that they have the measure that corresponds to a glass in a bottle). The trout was frozen (already mentioned in the menu). [It was expected that in a city where you see advertisements for fresh trout from a nearby fish farm, Ancutei would offer fresh trout, but no]. The truth is that it was a bit dry. We had to wait a long time, of course, if they had to defy them. The waitress (a blonde girl called Andreea after the name on the bill) was very serious and unfriendly: therefore we did not tip. She put 4 trout in the account and claiming that she informed us that they count for units of 100 gr, and that our trout weighs 200 gr. What a strange way to play on the account! In summary, the experience was not very good, especially because of the waitress who treated us like enemies.

The sour cream wa... read more The food was prepared badly. I ordered pork steak with bacon and potatoes. The bacon was very thick, 2 large pieces, and very soft and coarse. The sour cream was off, something too sour. The restaurant inside is very Romanian, 90’s style in a bad way. The beer was fine, but the glass was hot. The waiter didn't pour the drinks in glasses. The ok part of it was that the bathroom was clean, their potatoes and rolls were good, and the portion was fast. I'll be back.
