Savoy - Busan

Nice spot for a drink. Relatively recent price for a beer (4k won for cheapest small beer) and food isnt bad. The fish and chips was tasty and the fries crispy, salty and delicious. Cool jazz playing out and a relaxed atmosphere, nice pub bar for a quiet drink with a bit of atmosphere

Ordered fish and chips and both came overcooked and brittle. Next was garlic butter shrimp which was quite flavourful but the bed of fries was, again, overcooked. Savoy Weizen, their house beer, had a machine issue so I ended up with a glass of each of Full Moon APA, Kozel Dark and OB Pilsner. Good menu from a menu engineering perspective as they utilize French fries on most menus for simplicity, but the quality was unacceptable even at fairly low prices. Good for cheap eats, but lower your expectations. Okay for a quick beer stop in a classic salon decor, but I would have second thoughts on revisiting this place.

I know the pictures make this joint look great but, my friends, this is not a good bar. The food is bad, the beers are incoherent, the music is inoffensive but certainly not hand selected the way the vinyl-filled walls would imply. This bar is what you’d get if the marketing firm for Hogs Breath Cafe designed a bar to attract lost foreigners in Korea.

Friendly staff, spacious and great music. also the drinks are very affordable. had not eaten, but a nice place to grab some drinks with friends.

Foreigners welcome in the afternoon and earlier night but turned away later in the evening. Good environment good drinks
