very chic, too much to eat. eating could have been a bit hotter, but that's the nature of a caries. the service was in order, but had to ask for drinks and coffee, which was a scandal, since it was not at all busy in the restaurant. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Bunbury Arms:
cold, uninviting, cold teller, which does not help keep the lukewarm food hot, the carvery disappointing to say the least, bratkartoffeln so hard to cut, sprouts, which looked black and tasted terrible, and the flower cabbage cheese was a chaos, all in all no no no. would also be a good idea to be able to offer their customers a selection of heel milk and not just cow milk. The food was reasonable, although the mashed swede was very lumpy, the cauliflower cheese was over cooked. The meat was very good. Although it was a Christmas menu, no crackers or decorations.
Sat next to door so a bit cold had to eat with coat on not ideal
Lovely meal and very reasonably priced. Plenty of parking at lunchtimes.
We had a carvery which was beautiful plenty of meat and well cooked vegetables along with cauliflower cheese, couldn't fault it. However the sweets were expensive and small portions. The restaurant where we sat was unheated and cold. The service was excellent and there was plenty of parking spaces. There was limited bottled drinks available ie no fruit cider and ginger ale. Overall it was OK but could have been better.
