What andym287 doesn't like about Wine And Dine At The Red Lion:
This isn’t the first time we have been here, but the first where the food was not good. The beef Sunday lunch was poor, the meat was chewy and full of fat, very little gravy too, and nobody bothered to ask how the food was. Whilst we will probably return, we definitely won’t be having the beef, a new butcher is required. And more care from the chef. View all feedback.

We shared three starters - Burrata, garlic mushrooms, and squid - which were all very tasty. For our main courses, we had a variety including fish and chips, fish topped with a poached egg on risotto, and chalk stream trout with sauté potatoes and broccoli. My personal favorite was the trout, which was beautifully cooked and delicious. We all enjoyed our meals and would like to thank the staff for their warm hospitality and providing us with an excellent dining experience. Highly recommend this restaurant.
This hotel and restaurant is a perfect spot for a cozy overnight stay. Located near Bury, the surrounding countryside is charming and picturesque. The decor is lovely and the hospitality is top-notch. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
My family of five had a wonderful stay in the family suite, which had plenty of space for all of us. The staff were all very friendly and the food was delicious.
Ideal for walkers, large car park. Lovely staff and breakfast. Busy pub Very nice and friendly village.
The accommodation suited our purpose and we'd stay again. Being there on a Friday Saturday the noise from the bar was a slight inconvenience until closing time for one of our party.
