What Playedlynny doesn't like about Spice Cottage:
My husband and I booked a table as we have been several times and it was very busy. When we arrived (7.55pm on a Friday Evening) there were just 2 people in which was not a good sign,. Hubby ordered a very hot curry but when it arrived it was so mild he had to send it back. My Naan Bread was very greasy and doughy. We’ve just eaten here and it was really good. It’s mid week and the restaurant was quiet but the staff are friendly and the midweek menu is very good value (cobra at £3 a pint! . The food is good too with some extra choices compared to the average curry house. Highly recommend
Family meal for 13 people on new year's eve. food was really nice, we all got served at the same time. lovely evening meal out .
As a regular visitor to this restaurant I have to say that it just gets better on each visit. From its attentive staff, cracking, comprehensive menu and fab venue, you will struggle to beat this place. The Rogan Josh is the best I have had with the meat always tender and full of flavour. The wife always goes for the Tikka Masala as she says it’s just the best and with a good selection of beverages the evening is always joyful and enjoyable. Service is always met with a smile and the staff are always approachable and understanding and despite at times being busy the service is spot on. Well worth a visit and never disappoints
