I visited this restaurant for the first time and was warmly welcomed. The staff explained everything about the curries and how to order. We enjoyed 2 chapati wraps while waiting for our takeaway order, which were delicious. We ordered chicken curry, pakora curry, rice, and 2 curried scotch eggs with dips. The cutlass is fantastic, the paratha is good, the omelette is okay, the chai is below average, the lassi and halwa puri are ordinary, but the Nihari is very good. The bathroom is clean. The overall experience is expensive and the quality of the food is inconsistent. We were surprised to see a £2 cover charge at a street food cafe with a bill of just under £50 for three people.
