As travelling from Scunthorpe for work I found this place on Google and the reviews looked good when pulling up outside it looked a bit dated but the large queue outside made me give it a try. I've got to say I'm glad I did as this is by far the best bakery Ive come across the cakes are amazing along with the savouries and the staff are nice and polite would definitely recommend View all feedback.
What d19mes doesn't like about Saint George's Bakery:
This restaurant is not worth the price. Everything is very expensive. The sandwich salads are pre-made and then they add the fillings, but the bread rolls are already soggy. View all feedback.
Fantastic bakery is it for years and think that says everything. delicious eating is nothing for much annoying for the staff and it is always busy.
Great food from this bakery would definitely recommend
Hot brot from the often, a selection of cakes cooked in the house and hot baked. step over the other counter and choose something from the many number of cakes.
Large selection of cakes and sandwiches, the cakes are delicious. 10/10
Always great service here, fabulous staff and a great range of foods on offer. They make the best bacon butties in town.
