This place has been around for as long as I lived in Burtonsville (30 sum years). It looks abandoned since the shopping center it’s in is 99 percent vacant. However, don’t be fooled. They have some of the best pasta in the area. I’m quite fond of the spaghetti and meat sauce. My only complaint is that I’m not too fond of their bread. It’s very doughy, but it always has been. from out of town, just wanted a simple spaghetti and meatballs and was very disappointed. Usually I don't write reviews, but im still sick at 3 am. Thankfully I didn't eat very much of the food or i'd be sicker, I hope theyre just having an off night but beware. View all feedback.
It looks like the entire shopping center is abandoned, but this nice Italian restaurant is open and serves good pasta.
Delicious food and the nicest staff! The owners are always there and so friendly! Definitely recommend for fantastic Italian cuisine.
I was looking for a restaurant with good Italian food and Pepino's got high ratings for a very good reason. The food, ordered for delivery, was outstanding. The fettuccine appeared to be homemade and the Alfredo sauce was silky, creamy, and flavorful, not gummy and thickened by flour. There were four pieces of thinly sliced and tender veal in the piccata and the sauce was full of caper deliciousness. The perfectly cooked vegetable medley of fresh broccoli, carrots, and cauliflower were deftly seasoned with olive oil and garlic. The order was accompanied by fresh baked bread. I am a very happy customer and Peppino's is my Italian restaurant going forward.
It's been 10 years since i last ate at Pepinos, and tonight it felt like I'd stepped back in time. The food was just as delicious as it was back then.
Staff is great. Food fluctuates. Some dishes we love. Some dishes are not as Italian as we would like. The service is the best. They take great care of us. They prepare the meals exactly as ordered. Plus, they remember you. It's a nice place.
