What Alessandro Frei likes about Cafe de l'Union:
We had dinner here and ordered the fondue for two. We felt it was even better than the fondue we had a few days earlier in Gruyere. The cafe does not try to be more than it is, just an authentic Swiss place with good,...simple food and friendly service. The local wine was very good as well. View all feedback. As often in Switzerland, you feel like this place does not need patrons. We came throught the porch of the (otherwise magnificent) terrasse. The owner bumped into us and almost screamed on us to get out of the way. We sat and had to wait...40 minutes for below average, unoriginal, greasy and swiss priced (i.e. overpriced) food.
