Atlantis Fish Chips - Burry Port

This chippy is fab, friendly staff, never a mistake with eating and note that we live in carway, we were more local chippys, but only can not better this place so a few more miles we value it.

First visit since Barry has retired. Great service, chips were spot on and so were the pies. Will definitely call again.

I usually choose this restaurant because they are much better than their competitors in Burry Port. However, during my last visit, I was shocked by what I witnessed. The server handled cash from at least three different customers who were not wearing masks. The cash was exchanged back and forth as one customer changed their order. I was a bit concerned since my order had already been taken, and I noticed that the staff did not sanitize or wash their hands after handling the cash. They then went on to put the lid on my curry sauce and handled the paper wrapping my food. Given the current pandemic, I believe food providers should be especially cautious about handling cash and ensuring proper hygiene. Since that visit, I haven't returned, and I probably won't go back until this virus situation is resolved. It's very disappointing!
