Also known as the highest winery of the Palatinate. Located directly on the edge of the forest above Burrweiler, you have a magnificent view over the Rhine plain and the Palatinate with its small villages and hamlets, the very beautiful garden terrace with fig trees and large palm trees and the excellent wine cellars and guest rooms complete the gastronomic offer. The St. Anna pilgrimage chapel and various huts are also within walking distance. The restaurant is furnished in rustic, fashionable country house style. The menu with fresh, regional cuisine lets us read the menu. appetizers: Bouillabaise,Field salad with fresh gooseberry paste......... Main dishes: Gänsehaut mit Maronen, Entenbrust mit Ziegesoße, delicate fillet on red bete with wine foam sauce, deer medallions from own hunting.... We decided: Tagliatelle with roasted goat cheese very good noodles with wild sauce very good vinegar plate lush with sours, liver dumplings, paprika sausage on cremantkraut, crusty bacon and roast potatoes. All this combined with the excellent service, the good wines from our own wine cellars are worth 5 stars in all categories. We were certainly not the last time, because there are still many culinary delights waiting for us to be discovered.
