Swan Island Fish - Burntwood

Came today from the lichfield for the first time after several recommendations and it definitely hits every chip shop in lichfield. a small doner meat and chips that came out like a large part was great overall and the doner meat was the best tasting around. tested like correct lamb and the chips were spot on to be definitiw to use these again instead of a lichfield local. well done

Used this fish bar for the first time tonight, won't be going back, fish was dry and tasteless, chips were hard and must have been cooked ages ago, kebab meat was dry and tasteless, heard from a friend how good it was and had won awards but must have had notice when the examiners were going.

We have recently moved into the opposite and decided to give this chippy an attempt to lunch. we ordered kebab in naan, kebab and chips and two child dishes. everything was absolutely amazing and so fresh. I think it may be the best kebab we cost and we cost a lot. not to mention the courtesy and friendly service of the beautiful dame behind the theke. we will use it again tonight, so hopefully it is so good! definitiw recommend trying it here, although they are not disappointed!

Great place, the staff was friendly and very helpful. I have asked the staff how they prepare and treat themselves to certain foods, and they, where very honest and transparent, and eating was delicious. next time I'm in the opposite, I'll be back in the definitiw.
