We probably eat there once a week. They never fail to please. Portions are Generous best pork fried rice ever, big chunks of pork... warning:the pan fried dumplings are Addictive lol my guy asks for HOT Kung bo, and actually gets it (so many places won't) and they are the most hard working, kind people. When I need a food comfort hug, it's Sam's for me. View all feedback.
What Jeffrey H Klein doesn't like about Sam's Chinese:
Food was ready hot. The food was just not good. The wontons in the soup had tough meat it seemed mostly chicken. My lo mein fried rice and my wife's sweet sour chicken her fried rice were bland, not much taste here.Sorry I can not recommend their View all feedback.
My egg drop wonton soup tasted like Medicine THE WORST EVER AND MY MEIFUN WAS DRY AND TASTED AWFUL NEVER AGAIN AND VERY EXPENSIVE. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!!
SO GREASY. The eggrolls were...too big? Like everything inside of them was TOO BIG, and crunchy, and weird. I love eggrolls, but not these guys. Nope.
Such good food~ It could quite possibly ruin all other Chinese Restaurants for you~
Excellent food, Chinese food made like it was made before Chinese takeout opened on every street corner. If you enjoy real Chinese food, you need to give Sam's a try.You won't be disappointed.
Have been supporting Sam's since moving to the area almost 5 years. Enjoyed their food and have told family and friends about them. In the recent year and a half, their quality has gone significantly down. The last 2 times we have ordered, the general tso chicken dish was ALL breading even though the pieces were big. Not too mention the little bits of chicken that was hidden in the mold of breading was soo stringy and chewy. Soo disappointing. I summed up the first time this happened to covid and staff but to have the same quality the second time around, concerning. Needless to say, will not be returning for a third.
