drove a long way to lunch like in entertainment book. greenhouse restaurant has beautiful facility, service was excellent. a little overpriced for a pub, but it was worth eating. the $18 entree of Prosciutto cheese and grissini was tasty and plentiful...for 2. snapper and lambskewer main were substantial and perfectly cooked. best side of chips I've ever had. wee expensive per glass, but cold and served with a smile.... Unfortunately we had a terrible shock tonight, when dining with family at the pavilion. The serve sizes were tiny and prices inflated! I suppose they needed to pay for their recent renovations! Very disappointed and will not be going back again. I feel very bad recommending this to my family. View all feedback.
We dined at Greenhouse restaurant with family friends. The food was ordinary and service was very slow. Our dessert took a while to arrive. The staff were friendly. I was expecting better food and service for the price. I think they can do better!

I would have thought that all restaurants would have been under the same name of the pub, but unfortunately not. a tade misleading.
Bad service has forgotten our whole drink order for a table of 8. the food took a long time to arrive and the aromen were disappointing. Drinks I ordered from the menu was not available and then the waitress was not back to ask what. I wanted to drink after another prey of the menu.
For restaurant prices there was no table service to order food and drinks. the eating was small served mainly the hull that was dry, the pork bell was very small and fish was 2 small filets with dry leaf salad.
We went to the feathers hotel with another couple and were booked at the “Greenhouse Restaurant”. there is no possibility that we would return! if a pub will have a “restaurant” area, which should be different than its pub / other dining room styles, then. it must offer restaurant service. I note that their website says: ".our contemporary hotel culinary experience......Lush decor. great service!....” yes, the decor is beautiful, I will give them that, and at the arrival they look around and think 'oh, that feels nice about' .that is where it ends! there was a very large group (30 people? in the opposite and yet, when we arrived, they tried to sit on a table for four practically directly on this big group when there were so many other tables free that were away from the loud group. it is obvious that they would offer one of these tables, but we had to ask. due to the large group the service was extremely slow and we received our main course 1 hour 45 minutes after arrival. we had uttered soon after the arrival, and they were in order, but after that the service gap was exceptional. the oysters were served with dishes of the mignonette sauce, but no spoons to serve them on the oysters. the waitress seems to be strange that we may ask for spoons! when the main courses finally arrived, the steaks were shocking – why cook (or overcook)! the porterhouse on a grill but only sous vide the filet steak and send it out looking gray and very sad. it was an insult to pay $38 for a very sad steak and then add a restaurant that cost $12 side of kartoffeln if this place was clearly nothing close to restaurant quality! $50 for very little fun! the champagne we ordered came out at room temperature, so the first glass was not at all edible and we had to ask for more ice for the ice creamer that she had on the table side with approx. 10 pieces of ice left to cover and cool the bottle! when our net was served and our glasses on the table sat very clearly empty, we were not offered the wine card and we had to go into the bar to ask for more drinks. Why do you have table service when nobody looks at the tables? where was this “Great Service!”
