MJ's Roadhouse - BURNSIDE

Run by a couple of friendly ladies. They do good coffee and have some seating for inside or outside for sit down dining options plus toilets kept nice and clean for that very important part of the roadside pitstop when working around or travelling through we area

On a roadtrip- stoppedfor a takeaway coffee charged $5 Per standard cup very overpriced Asked what large Price Young girl Said thinks it the same . I like to support country shops but not at this Price

We came upon this roadhouse by chance and what a find. Went in to see if they had chips and found they had an amazing menu of your usual fish and chip shop fast food fare . We ordered and sat down at our table - there aren't many but enough for a 2 or 3 small groups.- only to find menus for sit down meals. And what a menu it was . Almost cried. The usual truck stop menu with truck stop prices , perhaps even lower than their South Australian counterparts. However , we were still not disappointed with what we received . I had a a delicious steak burger with the lot , minus cheese as per my request , my son had his chips - a super large bowl full of what had to be some of the best chips we have ever tried and my husband's meal , was likewise equally just as enjoyable . MJ's staff were friendly , helpful and made us feel welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Dining in the Roadhouse was a very enjoyable experience and one I would gladly have again if ever passing through Glenthompson . One final thing I must praise the staff / managers/ owners for and that is that of every roadhouse , restaurant or cafe that I have ever visited anywhere in my travels , MJ's Roadhouse has the cleanest restrooms I have ever seen and used. They were phenomenal . Ladies , you are legends !

I was a bit confused as to why the online ordering is for delivery only There is no way to order carryout online.

This No Thai location is fast (pick-up phone orders consistently ready within 10 minutes), clean, and yummy.
