Reviews - Bella Java
Reviews summary
Tucked in Burns, OR, this charming café serves affordable breakfast sandwiches, strong coffee and a standout almond-milk chai amid a cozy, welcoming interior. Fast, friendly staff and vegan/vegetarian options make it a reliable stop for travelers and locals; homemade pastries and daily specials add local flair. However, occasional stale pastries, order mix-ups and uneven food quality have been reported, so expect delightful mornings most days with the occasional miss.

What Janice Burris dislikes about Bella Java:
Cute atmosphere. Friendly waitress but got our orders wrong and had to be asked for ketchup and cutlery. Horrible food. Can you get a taco salad wrong? Yes you can, by using some sort of greens that were.bitter and tougher than kale. The fish and chips special tasted like grease. When I removed the breading the fish had obviously been frozen and tasted horrible in its own. The taste of grease was better. Food: 1 View all feedback.

This restaurant consistently delivers delicious food! I ordered takeout for breakfast, and everything was fantastic. The food deserves a perfect 5/5 rating, and the service was equally outstanding—also a 5/5. The atmosphere was welcoming and enjoyable, earning another 5/5. I highly recommend trying the Coffee Cake, Bagel Breakfast Sandwich, Cookies, Full Sandwich, Chocolate Cake, and the Huckleberry Raspberry Sandwich. You won't be disappointed!

The ladies serving us were so sweet, they were super fast and the breakfast sandwiches hit the spot! They also have the best almond milk chai latte I’ve ever had!
On our way through Burns we stopped early in the morning for drinks and breakfast. This place is a gem. Great food, tea and coffee and very good service. The place is extremely clean. It is recommended.
Cute place on the inside. The cashier was friendly.Ordered a white chocolate mocha and it was really good until I pulled a hair out of it. Yuck!! ?
I got the chai latter hot. Tasted like warm milk with tiny super weak flavor. It was not good. I walked in and said Hi to the the employee and she just started at me saying nothing. She was unfriendly, and acted like she hated being there.

At the counter, we also spotted some beautiful homemade baked goods, so we couldn't resist ordering a rich chocolate cake to take with us. We both went for the Burger Special, and it was absolutely delicious! This was our first stop in Burns, and we feel lucky to have found this gem. The food was tasty and reasonably priced, and the friendly family service made our experience even better. If you’re passing through, definitely stop by and support this local establishment. They truly are wonderful!
This is a fantastic spot to grab a quick bite while passing through Burns, OR. They were very accommodating to our vegan and vegetarian preferences. The staff is extremely friendly. I only tried one salad, but the drink menu looked amazing! They even offer almond milk and other substitutes.
This morning, I stopped by to get a cup of coffee, and the blonde lady behind the counter was the only one working. She did an incredible job engaging with every customer while making coffee and cooking. She really excelled this morning! Thank you so much! I wish I had caught your name so I could mention it in this post!
On the way home from Oklahoma and through Burns my wife discovered this place. I'm not much for Bistro's... usually just in my opinion) overpriced food and coffee that tastes burned... but this place where she had forced me to stop, she needed a break from riding) was quite the opposite. Although I only had water to drink, I had a chicken salad that was absolutely delicious and the price made it even better. I suggest you try this place, even if you don't burn coffee.
