Burnham Fish Chips

I decided to try this fish shop based solely on the reviews, and I'm glad I made the trip, even though it was quite a drive. The cod was absolutely stunning, and the Spam fritter took me back years. It was hands down the best fish and chips we've had in a long time. We'll definitely be returning! By the way, the owner mentioned plans to open a new shop in Bracknell.

I absolutely love this place! The chips are fantastic—delicious and not dry like some other places. The portion sizes are generous; the large cod is more than enough for two people unless they are really hungry! The fish (cod) is wonderfully moist and delicate. It's not really a complaint, but I noticed that if it’s freshly cooked, the batter leaves quite a bit of oil in the packaging. They've switched to a panko breadcrumb crust now, so I’ll definitely try that next time. The curry sauce is outstanding and makes for a wonderful dip for both chips and fish. The homemade tartar sauce is incredible—it outshines any bottled brand. If you haven't tried this fish and chip shop yet, I highly recommend you do; you won't be disappointed!

This is simply the best restaurant of all time. They offer excellent customer service—friendly and polite staff who truly make you feel welcome. The fish is outstanding, and I find myself returning again and again. Kudos to the owners of this family business; their service is truly top-notch. I am a very satisfied customer!
