The seasoning was sooooo good. The okra was a little salty but still good, hot and fresh. The fries were dry so not very happy with those but the fish made up for it. My expectation is from my excitement to experience the closest location to enjoy a childhood favorite. I will be traveling an hour just to partake of Captain D's. Ialways thought the closest location was two hours away. Yes, I'm that person to travel for food. I can't wait ???? Update: Itook it down to 4 stars because my fries weren't fresh and there were flies everywhere. The flies are nearly impossible to avoidin a Texas summer. The cashier has a sweet soul! I ordered in and some to-go lol.

For only 2 cars to get their food. I still had two cars in front of me before drivingoff. Absolutely worst place to go if you don't mind waiting an hour in the drive thru. Wasted my lunch break and didn't get toeat. I wish I could give this place zero stars.
